ben16v 0 Posted December 16, 2004 do the on the wing side to have as little warm engine air enterin the airbox. start off with a few `cos you can always do more. probably about 4-7mm have a search cos there`s a guide somewhere and make sure you only do the bottom half of the box Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Jim 2 Posted December 16, 2004 I'd just grab a proper cone filter if you have a VR6 rather than butchering your airbox.. the K&N one isn't all that expensive! The only reason 16v owners can't just do that is because of all the fuel injection sensor information and gubbins that are attached through the airbox, etc. It does sound very good though! :) Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Corrado Euge 0 Posted December 16, 2004 The only 16v air filter that is available is a Stroeve Motorsport one, which uses the top part of the air box which has all the sensors on it. That then connects to a plate which is made out of aircraft alluminium and then the cone filter fits to the underside of that.They are available from Eurotek (020 8681 0208).
