Andy T 0 Posted January 26, 2005 I've lost power to my electric mirror loom (probably fused it while faffin about trying to get late spec switch working on early spec car) i've checked all the normal fuses (1-21?) behind the dash trim and they are all ok, but I'm definately not getting power to the brown wire in the E/M loom. is there an auxilary fuse panel somewhere? I borrowed a live feed from the Electric Windows and the mirror motors are still working ok.
Yash 0 Posted January 26, 2005 try the fuse that sits just above the fuse box

Andy T 0 Posted January 26, 2005 hmm maybe it was black then - I've definately lost power to the mirror switch anyway thanks I will try looking above the fuse panel again
Andy T 0 Posted January 28, 2005 I cannot see any extra fuses above the fusebox at all, just relays and a few unused loom connections, any ideas? Yash, how big is this fuse and what model/year is your C? I cant find my Owners manual since I moved house either - it probably shows it in there! cheers
Yash 0 Posted January 28, 2005 have a look above the relays, my c is a 1990, its just a standard blade fuse, if its not there then check for blown fuses in the fuse box. My owners manual didnt show the mirror fuse as being above the fuse box.
Andy T 0 Posted January 28, 2005 cheers, is it on the fusebox or on a loom? cant see anything at all just lots of wires. Have checked all visible fuses, all intact. Does anything else run off you e/mirror fuse?
Yash 0 Posted January 28, 2005 when the fuse went for my mirrors the central locking also stopped working, same loom in my car for some reason. No its not on the fuse box, it sits just on top of it, its on its own llom.
