clunking noise in engine, water pump?

noise keeps happening, sounds like if you lost a fin on your water pump and it kept getting thrown around, also the engine has little or no power and it makes a wurrrrrrrr sound, kinda like a jet engine does, no its not the G-charger becasue this sound is new. the charger is boosting ok so I dont think that it has a problem, just think water pump because of heat of engine and clumking. pulleys look likey they are wobbling too. anyone?

It the pulleys are wobbling, then they'll need sorting.

 

Take off the wide belt & turn the waterpump by hand - it will be obvious if it's knackered.

I have AC got to take off the little belt, sorry stevemac its just the alternator not the water pump. cheers
