50mm or 42mm

Which manifold is the best ?

 

50mm or 42mm ?

 

I know that the 42mm kicks higher up the revs

and the 50 mm kick lower in the revs

 

which one to go for ??

You got it round the wrong way! The 50mm comes to life around 5k and is best suited to the 1.8s.People forget about the plenum size rather than the runner size.

The 50mm has a small plenum suited to the 1.8s and the 42mm has larger plenum to suit 2l. Im now using a flowed 50mm on mine.

also standard corrado has 136bhp where golf with 50mm standard has 139bhp
