Fan only works on low speed

Noticed that my valver gets quite hot in slow traffic, oil gets up to 120 deg, fan only works on low speed, is my thermostat faulty?

Sounds like either the thermostat is faulty or you have a faulty temp sender for the fan.

Where is the temp sender for the fan?

Screwed into the radiator - halfway down the pass side.. :wink:

Yeah, try the thermoswitch, GSF sell them and you'll need to remove the battery and use a 30mm spanner to fit, If you swap them quickly you should'nt lose much coolant.
