Oil not at usual running temp? any ideas please.

My cars always easily warmed to around 104 at fasish driving. tonight it was strugling to reach 100 and sat at 94 - 98 most of the time. Why is this and is it cause for concern???? thanks.

One way to look at this is the lower the oil temps the better. It is probably due to lower ambiant temps than usual and this is keeping the temps down. Unless it is really cold or hot I would pay it no attention.
