Part number for late style (rotary) heater control unit

Someone on e-bay is selling the above with the part number 536 819 045. Just looked on mine and it's stamped with two numbers on the bottom:

 

358 819 045

358 820 045

 

It's for sale as a Corrado part, just wondered if anyone knows what the correct number is and whether it would be the same part (maybe just for the Passat), before i bid on it!

No , its OK! Different geezer. As it happens the fella E-mailed me today to say hes been in hospital past few days (I do believe him!) and hes sending controls straight away :D . Leave me know (on this thread) how much u get them for mate!

That's odd, this bloke took a while to answer the question about the part number on them. When he replied he said he'd been in a motorbike accident and been recovering hence the lack of reply.

 

Maybe it's just a co-incidence? Although i wouldn't have thought there'd be too many people selling Corrado heater controls on Ebay.

This is why i was suspicious at first! The fella i delt with had apendicitus and has only got out of hospital :wink: - no really i do believe! Keep me posted mate!(on this thread)
