Suspension noise since being lowered

Recommended Posts

Recently fitted lowering springs, since this I hear twisting rubber sound when turning on the front end. Thought this might have just taken time for everything to settle down but is still happening after a week.

do the rubber mountings need to be trimmed? if yes by how much

The bump stops should be cut back, otherwise the car might be sitting on them all the time with the new lower ride height.

Are your front tyres rubbing on the coil springs or inner wheelarches ?

Did you have the front camber re-set once you'd changed the springs ?

Sorry for being a div but how do I reset the chamber?

Camber, not chamber... it's how the front wheels sit in relation to the vertical. It needs re-setting at a garage with the proper measuring equipment, similar to setting up the tracking on your car... 8)
