Nick L 0 Posted April 17, 2005 The only difference is the glass and the plastic surround. The main body of the headlight and the reflectors are identical from early and late spec. The reflectors go dull and the tabs break off the top where they screw to the slam panel. Possibly this is why you require new headlights.... The glass lenses are available seperately from VW; I think they cost less than £30. Maybe even cheaper with parts club prices. If you need new headlights, I know of a pair on an early G60 at a breakers in sussex. SRC 01243 543546. They are in good condition, except one has a cracked lens.
