G60 Rev counter signal

Hi,

Can anyone confirm where the rev counter takes it's signal from in the engine bay?

I thought it was the black wire on the coil and I connected that upto my DTA ecu but the rev counter isn't moving.

When i fitted the entire

inj. system of a lancia

delta intergrale,(IAW/weber),

i got the signal of the green wire,

same went for my previous golf2

16v turbo.

Thanks, will have a look but I don't remember seeing it anywhere.

Would it normally be on the coil?

Yep,+15 or 1

on the coil's connectors.

Got it working now.

The green wire only sends the signal to the ECU. The rev counter gets it's signal from a green/yellow wire from the ECU.
