chaz g60 0 Posted May 6, 2005 just got my 90 g60 back from vw after having a new temp gage and speed cable fitted and theres a hissing pphhh sound from behind the console ?????? :roll: these spanish mechanics are really doin my head in theres somthing every time i expect it now. Dec 1 Posted May 7, 2005 Sounds like they just forgot to plug the vacuum pipe for the mfa back in! Pretty easy to fix! Just unscrew the four screws on the bezel around the clocks, the two screws on the top sides of the clocks themselves. The clocks should tilt forwards and you should be able to squeeze your hand in behind them! The vacuum line plugs in just behind the the mfa screen!
