starter probs

Just got in from work,Pulled up in front of garage,turned car off,opened garage door got back in car and the b****y thing would'nt start it sounded like the starter was partially seized has anybody got any ideas if it is a knackerd starter or ignition switch problem. :!:

check for loose wire on starter motor, u`ll be supprised. any dirty or loose connection will reduce the amp needed for the starter to turn. follow the wires off the starter and do the same. how does it start anyway ? slow turn/no turn/weak turn ?

with this hot weather we been having a bad connection could of over heated and become worse. could of been a fault waiting to happen.

slow turn then stops and ticks almost like its a flat battery,i know its not cause its brand new,but i'll check all the connections like you say,ta
