BellaChaos 0 Posted July 22, 2003 Own a 91 G60. When I bought it it would no start. I replaced ecu. The car would start but not turn off...then I replaced ecu relay and started and turned off correctly about 5 times...after that the car remained running after I turned it off. I thought maybe it was some kind of relay problem but now I think it might be something with the distributor. Any suggestions on how/where to start?? Thanks, Diana. Henny 0 Posted July 22, 2003 Tried changing the ignition switch? Seems to be quite a common failure on later VWs... Just had to do one on my G60, The dealer had 14 on the shelf.... :shock: It's about 30 mins to do, but can be a bit fiddly, if you think this may be the problem and want some pointers, leave a message after the beep... :lol: 8) Beep!
