CIPO 0 Posted November 24, 2005 The bearings were nackered on the old one for ages, so I bit the bullet and got a new one. Now i know the std one could cook a turkey but the new one has 20% of the puff of the old one. Am i missing something??????? HELP. :x
Supercharged 2 Posted November 24, 2005 Hmmm - is it a proper Valeo one?? Is it switching at all 4 speeds?
Jim 2 Posted November 24, 2005 Definately something amiss there.. when I bit the bullet and replaced my squeaky motor with a brand new one, it felt like I had a hurricane localised in my heating system - top speed was pretty powerful and much better than the old one! Supercharged 2 Posted November 24, 2005 Yeah - does it *sound* like it's on full??? - if so then maybe sticky flaps :-P Check the resister pack - the resister may be leaking...
CIPO 0 Posted November 24, 2005 Yea, it is working at all 4 speeds. I got it from Eurocarparts. The noise increases as you progress from 1-4, not as loud as before but it does appear that something is holding it back............ :?:
Supercharged 2 Posted November 24, 2005 Hmmm... maybe do a voltage test at the plug and then the output of the pack...
Andy665 0 Posted November 24, 2005 Did you put it on the right way round, I made the mistake of putting it on the wrong way round and the output was next to useless
