Tesco's Insurance taking the p1ss

Firstly I am 21, but all the same......

 

To add a set of 17s to my corrado will cost me...

 

£180! For 11 months AND!!!!! will double my excess then add another £100 on top.

 

So instead of paying £960 (pretty good really (4 years no claims and one sp30) for the year and 300 excess, I would have to pay 700 excess and £1140 all for a set of 17 inch wheels I am buying for £300 :(.

 

Any advice????

Just got off the phone to adrian flux :D £784 for the year! So just cancelled Tesco.

Well you didn't say your were early enough into your insurance to cancel ;)

 

And yes, Adrian Flux will beat any quote - I'm with them myself.

I think i'll be giving Adrian Flux a call when I get another Rado - even sweeter that someone I work with's sister just started working for them.. wonder if I can get any kind of discounts :D

Cheapest I got was from Chris Knott. £850 TPFT. Not bad considering I'm 21 with 2 years no claims. £100 cheaper than to insure my Golf GTI.

Hic for me, they aren't bothered about anything unless it makes the car go any faster. Very good for modded VW's. I'm paying £750 TPFT with 3 years NCB & was 21 when I took the policy out, declared the wheels, suspension & exhaust.

Im with HIC too. They don't charge extra for:

 

--> Alloys

--> Backboxes

--> Strut Braces

--> Lowering

 

And to top it off, theyre pretty cheap :D
