Mk2 golf GTI(mk3 engine)No biting point. Is my clutch gone?

Driving as normal, then there is no longer a biting point>>>> Waited 2 hours for AA to tow the car home.

 

Is this the clutch gone???? If so, want to replace it wirtrh a good clutch, black diamond will do, but where can i buy the kit from in london????

 

And does anyone is south london/surrey know of a good reasonabl priced garage to get the work done???? At the moment im contemplating takin it to the stealers, they charge 60 buc(incl VAT) per hour, for 3 1/2 hours work.
