blown head gasket

hi

got a 94 vr6 rado

head gasket is goin

had atest done and there is exhaust gases in the coolant expansion tank

it is not losing power or coolant

do i need 2 change the head gasket yet ?

and also the timing chain is worn do i get them done the same time?

can anyone one recomend a garage in the north west? ?

once head gasket is replaced will it run as good as before?

probably if you dont want to do any damage to your engine

depends on how much you wanna spend i reckon, what you expect to sell your car for and the cost of the work

A chap in Stoke (http://www.stokevwspares.co.uk) did my chains. He can do them for a very competitive price: £250 labour to change the chains and clutch or about £250 including parts. He'll probably charge another £150 to do the headgasket so about £700 for everything at a guess which is a pretty good price.
