kop10320178 0 Posted May 10, 2006 hi got a 94 vr6 rado head gasket is goin had atest done and there is exhaust gases in the coolant expansion tank it is not losing power or coolant do i need 2 change the head gasket yet ? and also the timing chain is worn do i get them done the same time? can anyone one recomend a garage in the north west? ? once head gasket is replaced will it run as good as before? thanx jay or should i part ex it for v6 4motion Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

corradovr6sc 0 Posted May 10, 2006 A chap in Stoke (http://www.stokevwspares.co.uk) did my chains. He can do them for a very competitive price: £250 labour to change the chains and clutch or about £250 including parts.
