what to use to clean std. G60 i/c

as the title really, thinking of whipping the intercooler out tom and give a clean...

 

what do we reccomend to clean these out.... and where to get it from?

so either white spirit or prefferably a bit of paraffin (spelling) would fine then?

fill it with a clothes washing liquid or powder and a touch of water, leave it to soak for a couple of hours, then flush through with a hose pipe. Much better than using thinners/petrol... ;)

 

Make sure it's TOTALLY dry before re-fitting though!
