hi all can anyone tell me what insurer is the one that lets you use any mods up to a certain bhp!

 

brentacre springs to mind but im sure there is another good one or even if anyone else has a really good insurer i also wouldnt mind getting a agreed value!

p.s think stan 24v uses the insurers im thinking off

I think you'll find alot of the time it is on a case by case basis however any mods are going to cripple you at 21!!!!

 

However try one of the more specialist brokers like Chris Knott, Adrain Flux or Brentacre!

cheers blue joe & mat b! see my elephant insurance at mo its £800ish quid no agreed value

 

and ive declared wheels lights exhaust induction kit and chip!

so its not that i particuarly want to change will just feel better if i get an agreed value!

It's not realy worth going to an agreed value policy unless you have done some major amount of work on the car that will not be covered by the market value of the car as they can put the premium up quite a bit!!!

 

I'm about to move to an agreed value policy for mine as I have spent soo much on the car, however that means they know the inside and out of everything you have done to the car and it has to be inspected by an independant assessor.

 

Just better getting a quote from a specialist with mods declared
