g60griff 0 Posted July 31, 2006 im no wizard when it comes to electrics but i have got a problem, when i put my drivers side window up and hold the button when it gets to the top the engine dies and nearly cuts out, as soon as i touch the button to put it up or down the rev counter needle drops like the ignition is off. i also found out the other day that the same thing happens if i press the horn. but nothing happens if i use the sunroof or other electrics. can anyone help? Once i had a very similar problem in another car, it may seem odd but they were a couple of problems togheter. - Engine running very lean - Electrical motor (unfused) with high current consumption - Alternator with a pair a fried diodes Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
