What exhaust would you recommend for a G60...?

I've got a 1800 8v G60 from a Corrado and have transplanted it into my golf mkII.

The head has been ported, it has a cone filter and a front mount intercooler form a Merc ML something.

Currently I have my old golf exhaust, which is a 4-1 branch & 50mm exhaust.

 

What exhaust would you guys recommend I try get...?

This has been done to death. Best advice is to use the SEARCH function from the homepage - lots of debate about whats best.

Cheers thanks, i have gone through a few pages of that exhaust thread, excuse the pun, pretty exhausting...

 

I'm in South Africa so I can't go to the same places... So I would like to try get something matched up similar to what the guys who know what they're doing overseas are running.

 

Like what manifold? What diameter pipe, how many boxes etc...

Then I will firstly save up the money, then go to a local exhaust shop and see what they can do...

There's a guy selling his golf mkII S/S 57mm exhaust, do you think it would be worth me going with that...? From 50mm to 57mm, will that make much of a difference...? Good/Bad...

When talking about exhaust diameter you are reffering to the inner or outer diameter?
