Removing pedal box

firstly i am not sure if i put this in the right section so mods feel free to move it about

 

What is the correct way to remove the pedal box from a corrado?

I took the one out of my scrap car but it was a pig, i didnt remove the servo and am thinking i should have, instead i trimmed back the metal on the steering column bracket.

Obviously i cant do this on a car i intend to keep, so whats the correct way?

Gonna resurrect this thread as i intend on doing this tomorrow. Need to remove the auto pedal box and replace with a manual pedal box. Whats the score when doing this??? Read the auto to manual how to, do i need to take out steering column???

 

Any help would be much appreciated as i'm new to doing this.
