that's the rubber golf one, sometimes used on lower powered passats too, the C one is the hydraulic version with a passat part number 535199262

GSF do them, not cheap though 42.50 plus vat

Yeah not much cheaper than VW, if I was paying that kind of money id get a solid one I reckon.

TBH they don't really cause problems, the engine just sits on them, they don't take the strain like the front mount does, if yours is really shot then a S/H passat one would probably do, I wouldn't go for solid on the rear for a valver, too much vibration when the engine isn't massively torquey anyway.

Yeah the vibration issue put me off the solid mounts before when I was replacing the front mount.

 

The cars had a couple of track days so Im thinking that might have worn the rear mount out.

 

I get a knock and judder on lift off, Im fairly sure its not the front mount as its been replaced recently.

Doubt it new wishbones + bushes went in 6 months ago :)

Age and track days ;) - I just hope thats whats causing the problem.
