G60 charger belt

anyone know the part number for a ribbed belt with a 68mm pully?

You will need a 6pk1640 belt for a 68mm ribbed pulley. Give us a call if you get stuck sourcing one.

Great, I'm also thinking about getting a smaller pulley, I'm currently running the standard pulley without aircon or power steering. Are there other mods that need to be done to run a 68mm pulley? Can the internals handle it or do I need to get the pistons & valves ceramic coated or something...?

Another question, what is the smallest pulley i can use and keep my current belt...?

pretty sure you can run a 68 on std belts. may slip a bit. nothing to worry about.

erm no you wont need to get anything ceramic coated on these engines. they are very strong and std. just dont run them without the water pump. !

if you put a 68 on you must put a relivent chip to go with it to fuel correctly.

you havent got power steering. odd. must be one of the unlucky few,.

Cheers, thanks.

It's a corrado G60 that i fitted in my mkII, so decided it would be easier to loose the power steering & aircon.

I'm running a local after market fuel/ignition system called gotech.

So if i do fit a smaller pulley of around 68mm I'll definately take it for a dyno tune.

Do you reckon that should be alright...?

Thanks

Without changing to a different size belt, what would the smallest size pulley be that i could use with my same belt that i use on my standard pulley...?

Thanks
