VOSA now no longer require engine codes and numbers for the MOT, it’s caused mayhem for the testers trying to find the details so some just guessed.

So all you conversion nuts can sleep easy and just tell them it’s still a 1300cc :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

ummm, I didn't think they ever needed the engine number... Chassis number, yes, but not the engine number... (makes note to update V5 with new engine number asap.... :oops: :lol: )

my last three 'new style' MOT's didn't need the engine number, that's on two different cars over the last 16 months???

you needed the engine code not the number this is to help with emmison tests. but as posted most to the time we just guess.

On some vehicles the engine code is a number, maybee I should have said engine code or code number for those who are hard of thinking :lol:
