tiny oil leak from oil filter SENSOR

As said above, seems there is a small oil leak from the top of the oil filter housing where a cable goes in. Presume it is some kind of sensor.

:?:

- is this normal to go?

- will it just be a seal?

- or more likely the sensor perrished?

a - is it safe to undo (looks to be 23mm) ???

b - or should all the oil be dropped out first?

 

any tips would be great! Id refer to the naffy manual i have, but stuff like that it just says "remove filter, remove sensor, put back together, simple!"

had this when doing my supercharger, just take sensor out 23/24mm. and put some PTFE tape on the thread, tighten up, and job's a good un.

yeah pull of the rubber if it leaking from the spade clip change the sensor
