1st rado for me

Corrado 1.8 16v

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys

I have now managed to spend twice the amount I paid for the car on parts trying to restore my 89 Rado.

I have changed exhaust for a powerflow one well worth the money.

Replaced all discs and pads, 2 new rear calipers.

New engine mounts, new clutch slave, new pioneer bluetooth head unit.

All new front speakers.

I now have a car that sailed through its mot without any advisory notice.

The next thing I am going to do is replace the steering rack as it is a bit worn.

But I don't know what to tackle next, any ideas? I want to leave body work as last thing.

I basically want to restore the car to showroom condition , or as damn close as I can get.

Interior is a bit crap, well the drivers seat is.

If anyone knows of any good garages near Bristol it would be very helpful.

Oh and if any has a grey drivers door speaker grill i am looking for one.

I only paid £600 for the car, bill is around £1300 at the moment I only brought it as a run around and fell for her charms and I am throwing more money than I intended too.

I am hooked.

Nice to see another old corrado being looked after.

Looks like you need a handbrake lever cover.
