Quick ISV question...

Recommended Posts

Trying to sort out my naff idle... no matter what i do the isv will only idle crap.... ive set it correctly, blue temp sender out, revved 3 times adjusted then revved 3 times agsain but still it has the ruff idle...

The isv is buzzing but it is also pulsing every 0.5 seconds or so like a pulse... is this normal.

Everything else has been checked, has a new BTS aswell...

Another thing that may cause it could be the idle switch maybe??

Pulsing's normal as is the buzzing, have you cleaned it properly?,is it seized?(common on the old 1st series 'valvers),are you getting a electrical signal to the ISV?.

Has anyone got the correct VAG part number for the Blue temp sender??

I am gonna change the BTS for a VAG item as i believe the GSF one may be passed it, even tho its only been on the car for 3 months....?
