2.0 16v running bad when cold!

Recommended Posts

Hi there all, I have a corrado 2.0 16v that I bought about a week ago. I drove the car from London where in bought it to the North of Northern Ireland (Londonderry) with out any problems at all. When I got home the next day I decided to wash under the bonnet! After I washed it I let it sit for a day before I used it again, when I stared the car it ran well for about 30 seconds then it started going bad! If I give the car a good rev and take off, it will run fine over 4000 rpm but when I go under this it runs as if its on 3 cylinders and trys to stall? The running bad goes away after I drive it for about 3-5 mins but it seems to be slightly down on power. I have replaced the distributor cap and rotary arm!

Has anyone got any ideas??

Would the throttle position sensor do this to it?? :?:
