engine bay temp sensor on 1.8 16v

is there a correct name for this?? It's the one thats located off the back of the cam cover right next to the cam pulley

to find the right part on GSF or Eurocarparts. I couldn't find anything to match.

It's a temperature sender for the cooling fan to come on after igntion off if engine temp is high

should be on the front left of the head as it's to cool the fuel in the injector feed pipes so the switch should be close to them.

Don't go buying a new one, they're only available from VAG I think and cost a fortune, I've got a spare if you need one.

The one on the front is the fan over-run sensor, turns the fan on and off after the engine is off. If you earth the wire on the block etc the fan runs. There's a number stamped on it I think mine was around £20-25!
