DanVW 0 Posted October 20, 2006 Hi All, I need to replace my crankshaft as my G60 has just chewed through the Crank pulley (again :mad: ) Can anyone tell me if I replace it with a second hand Crankshaft can I replace the bearing shells, Thrust washers with new VAG parts or should I fit the ones that match the donor crank shaft? And will I need to do anything to the donor crankshaft to match it with my lightened + balanced flywheel? Obviously I will replace the bearing cap bolts for new ones along with oil seals both ends and clutch bolts (as it will be coming off) Also is there anything else I should replace while I am in there (did the oil pump on Wednesday :roll: so that should be ok) Cheers all Dan Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
