latestarter2 0 Posted November 9, 2006 Hey patronise away mate...lol The heater up until 7pm tonight only worked on level 4..now its packed up altogether and everyone ive spoken to says "aaah that'll be the resistor then"..10min job apparently!!! unless there are other suggestions? Bendy 0 Posted November 10, 2006 Mine only used to work on setting 4 as well, the problem with mine was that the contact point behind the knob (technical tems i know!!) had bent out of shape and was not contacting, hope that makes sense. all that you have to do is pull the knob :lol: for the fan speed and you will see a L shape piece of metal with copper piece on the end, thats the piece that was the problem on mine, just needs to be bent back into shape so it contacts.
