georgek 0 Posted January 23, 2007 Hi All, First gear is being a right stubborn git lately! I either have to take my foot off the clutch and back on or into third then first. -Neil- 0 Posted January 23, 2007 Open your bonnet, look at the gear box, you'll see two cables, the one nearst the front of the car has a bolt, the bolt head will be facing the front of the car, undo the bolt and the bolt will slide from left to right, the cable is FIXED onto the bolt so moving the bolt will slacken or tighten the cable. Move it until you can get into first ok. I had exactly the same problem, quick fiddle with the cable and it was PERFECT after! Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
