Temperature gauge not working!!!! any ideas???

As above. Temp gauge has stopped working on my 1990 16v Rado. changed sender on side of cyllinder head, but no change. any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers :cry:

Earth the temperature sender wire and see if the gauge rises. If so, it'll be the sender, if not it'll be the wiring or the gauge.

 

The fact that you've already changed the sender would point to the wiring or the gauge, obviously, but it's a free check and worth doing for peace of mind I think.
