engine smell

hi guys

For a couple of weeks the c as been smelling of burning oil when i check each morning it don,t appear to be using any oil could this be oil steams and seals also there is no smoke if i were to boot the c its a 1.8 16v its coming upto 150 .000 on the clock

Ive been getting that latetly too? Ive not lost any oil either but my oil warning lamp is flashing occasionally as well!! eek

my oil light is fine dont come on oil level on dip stick on top mark c also seems to be running ever so tappey
