busted car dilema!

Recommended Posts

I have a 94 Polo 16 valve. Its got pretty much every extra that you could get, all electrics, sunroof, ac etc. Trouble is it also has a long list of busted bits too.

Needs....

Track rods (siezed and tracking is a mile off)

Rear sliencer

Water pump

Radiator

Headgasket

Gearbox selector shaft seal

Windscreen

Clutch

Window regulator

Service with all fluids etc

Passenger door seal

Some body work if I can be bothered

MOT and tax

Its prob all going to cost about £800. excuding mot and tax.

Im leaning towards getting it all done. Its not really worth much as it is and cant see me getting anything better for £800. Its allot of money though. Maybe I should sell it now for whatever I can get for it and spend the money on the Corrado. But then the corrado is always breaking anyway and i dont really want to park it in the road I just moved to. Its on the drive at my parents. I could always fix it then sell it for more but its quite a cool little car, 100bhp, fully loaded, a litle bit battered so I dont mind leaving it in this dodgy street of mine and I dont really fancy selling it after spending so much on it.

Hmmmm any suggestions?
