alternator pulley

I got homefrom the stables this morning to find a nasty noise coming from under the bonnet. At first i thought the charger had self destructed but on further examination the nut and washer were missing from the alternator pulley and the metal fan was grating against the alternator housing. Does anyone know the nut size on the pulley and a torque setting?

 

Also its a long shot but does anyone know if all the vw alternators share the same size nut on the pulley?

 

I'm off to the scrap yard in the morning to try and find a replacement as i need the car for work monday.

 

Any help would be fantastic.
