HELP! Sticking valve how do I get the bugger to run?

I have a beemer 3 series which I need to sell...BUT...it's got a sticky valve and I can't get the bugger to turn over, does anyone know how to deal with this without taking the head to bits?

Could I tow/drag it in gear?
