The rims looks sweet, myn aren't thats clean, but will sort them when the weather perks up..

 

BTW do you use any alloy polish stuff on them?

all I've done it used paint stripper to get the lacquer off them. I haven't had any polish on them at all yet.

 

Not had any bother with the going 'furry' yet either. They'll be coming off soon anyway, I'm going 5 stud with wide track soon and putting the polished speedlines on it.

Wont they rust without the laquer? :?

 

I had similar wheels and the guy at the refurb. shop told me not to get em done! He said they'd out live the car in their original state, but removing the lquer would kill em within 12 months :shock:

rust? they're forged aluminium you fool.

 

They will get white furry marks on them if you never clean them, but if you wash them once a week and polish them every other week they're fine.

Yeah thanks for that, I realised that 10mins after I posted :oops:

 

But they do go all scabby, or 'furry' as you put it.. My bro in law's Estorils suffered that after he got em polished like mirrors
