Really looking forward to it :) Will have plenty of time to get to know the car on the drive back home to Scotland, hopefully a troublefree run. Got a couple of changes in the works already. enbee23 0 Posted November 19, 2007 Got the thing home on Sunday night. Hmmmmmmm. I've got a long list of "surprises" that need sorting...... Most urgent is a rear wheel bearing, which is the noisiest I have ever heard, unbelievable. Central locking, eng/box mounts and heater fan switch will need immediate attention too and plenty more to do after that. Can't complain too much as it was not an expensive car. On the plus side, I averaged 34mpg over 560 miles including some long stop-start jams and some extended WOT runs, much better than I was expecting.
