Here's me... Well my new VR to be more accurate

Recommended Posts

Here's some initial pics of my new acquisition. As far as I'm aware it's pretty much standard apart from the suspension and a Jetex exhaust....

My first stab at posting pics on here so forgive me if they're not right. I want to change the rear lights & I think I'm wanting some half smoked, kinda like what I had on my MKII Golf GTi, anybody got any they don't want, or any better ideas? I'm in Cornwall so if anybody sees me about feel free to gimme a little wave, it makes me feel like I've got friends. Any comments gratefully received.

I am at bridge by portreath. And travel to work every day in hayle. Cant remember the last time I saw another c. They are a rare bread down here.

I am not to sure of any body shops down here as have not used any yet. ( on list of things to do) :D . Try asking on the oemplus forum as they all have work done most winters. Be prepared for a wait on the reply though as it is the quietest forum known to man.

Will give you a wave if i see you around.

If you need any engine work done on it try rk engineering in aggie.

Looks very nice and unadulterated.

I think one of the mods is down in Cornwall, think its Walesy? (sorry for dropping your name!)

He's got this in his sig anyway:

Give them a shout.

OEMplus... I'll have a look at that. That's 3 people that have recommended RK Engineering so they must be good. Or logging in as lots of different user names :D

Tim, just been looking through your thread & I'm loving those wheels. That's one of my 1st jobs on the car after counting what's left when the new house purchase has gone through

They look great but are a pain in the ass to clean. Hence the reason they are in the shed at the moment and I am back on the old black 17's. Loving the vr. Where did you get her from. Rk are good. I wouldnt take mine anywhere else. Complete dub nuts. 8)

Picked it up from Chris Nicholls Motors in Penzance, Used to belong to a guy on here called Jimbob1970 (I think that's right) Hats off to him he was really helpful and he didn't even own the car any more. Bags of history & some big money spent on it over the last couple of years
