RAC Windscreens Bradley Stoke, Bristol

Don't really know where this should go, but thought they deserved a mention.

 

The windscreen seal came away at the top a few days ago (I'm guessing it was fitted badly + bad weather etc caused it), and has got steadily worse. Was passing RAC Windscreens, Bradley Stoke today, so thought I'd pop in and see what they could do. The garage was full of cars, but they immediately got me in. They took the seal off, gave the metal etc a really good clean, removing the old bonding agent, mud etc. They then reseated and bonded the rubber seal.

 

All in all, took getting on for an hour. The guy was a top bloke- chatted about the car etc, and to top it all off, they didn't charge me. :D Exactly the sort of service you SHOULD get, but rarely seems to happen. Thanks RAC!

I've used them when I was in the Bristol area and can agree that the service was very good (I only had a chip repaired) but they were very understanding of my binding brakes issue and the fact an AA van came out to 'fix' me!!!

 

I had a new screen fitted in the 8v at the RAC place in Sheffield and again, their service and knowledge was excellent.
