1.8 16v exhaust manifold and downpipe length

Would anyone know how long the standard exhaust manifold and downpipe are for a 1.8 16v?

 

I have a 4 branch to fit, and am going to connect it up to the rest of my current system, but I need to work out roughly how long I need to make the adaptor or how much I need to hack off the current centre box to get it to fit nicely.

 

I'm after the measurement from the back of the head to the joint with the centre box in just the horizontal plane, if you know what I mean.

Also I assume that the standard pipe diameter is 2 1/4 inch?
