is this ment to be conected to anything

as its just dangling

all i know is its something to do with the boost

 

could this be the cause of the noise on accelaration

 

oh yeah just tried to replace the passenger side door handle

with a passat rear 1 it dont work what else do you have to do

Isn't it the boost return valve? If it is there should be a linkage that connects to the throttle valve. Means that it's stuck open, probably makes a whistling sort of noise and that you're not getting full boost a WOT.

 

PS If it's the linkage you need I may have one
