Part numbers for drop links and wishbone both sides please

Recommended Posts

Hi as the title ive been told my anti roll bar drop link is causing the knocking noise when going over bumps so going to replace both sides anyone know the part numbers needed? Also while im at it i was going to get some new wishbones fitted as the mechanic said that the bushes are worn so rather than getting new bushes ive been told to replace the whole wishbone as the bushes are an arse to get out so part nu,bers for both sides of these as well please? Also is it worth replacing the bolts etc while im at it or should the old ones be fine ??

Many thanks

:salute:

Jon

PS I presume VW is the best place to get the parts rather than gsf?

Ive been told my ball joints are ok! Do i still need new ones?

Also how many bolts hold the wishbone on?

Ok, ignore the bottom ball joint... Its the joint between the end of the wishbone and the hub, and allows the hub to pivot and move up and down.

There are 2 bolts holding the wishbone to the subframe (19mms?) one horizontally back to forwards at the front of the wishbone, and one vertically at the back. There are 3 10 or 13mm bolts holding the ball joint to the wishbone.

The drivers side needs the engine jacking up or the sump removing to get the wishbone off.
