2.0 16v Idle control valve. How much? Where from?

My ICV is now unservicable and im looking to get a new one. Its a VDO if that makes any difference. Im wondering if i can get one for less than £130 and if so... where? Unless anyone has one lying around at home ofcourse :D

Get yourself on eBay or down to a breakers and look for one from 2.0 16v Audi 80 - i've got one on mine and it works like a champ :)

Between £10-20 second hand on the bay or breakers as Jim said.

I cant seem to find any on ebay. Everyone keeps saying to try there and i never get any joy. Im not paying £130 for one. As for scrappies, well the ones around here are crap and only have fords or vauxhalls in.

Well - thems your options. Keep your eye open there, on the forum for cars being broken, or down the scrappie. Failing that cough up for a new one!

Strangely enough, the Part number for a 9a (2.0 16v) Idle valve is the same as the ABV (VR6) one!

Is it really? Because there is one on eBay listed for a VR6. I heard that there is a difference between the VDO and the Bosch valves. Correct? If so how do i know which is the correct one
