ford vr6 (AAA) crank sensor same as rado (ABV) crank sensor?

as title states, ill be replacing it soon and thought ford maybe cheaper than vw if the sensors are in fact the same. also assuming that the plug end is the same as the vw one....

i had to change the PCV valve and piping on my corrado. i used to ford bits as they were cheaper and came serperatly as appose to having to buy the full intake piping, so it worked out better to buy from ford, check it out, go into your ford dealer and have a look on the computer at the pics :D tell em you havent got one and its for your C and they should be able to find it!
