overrun cutoff control unit

Hi

Tried the search in vain.

On a 1991 1.8 16v KR, where is the control unit located,that controls idle and overrun cutoff.

Over-run cutoff valve circled in red. Idle stabilsation valve in blue, and the vacuum switch that controls it is circled in orange.

I'm not totally sure, the mk 2 golf 16v had a separate idle control box, but the corrado one may be in the main ignition ECU box, I'll have a look on ETKA at some point.

Thanks all.

Are you sure the vacuum switch (diaphragm pressure switch) is to control the cut-off valve. I thought it was to enrich the fuel mixture when cranking the engine at -35C.
