Head Gasket Failure

Took my rondo to my mechanics tuesday night ready for the MOT wednesday and when i got there it was overheating. Got a phone call yesterday and its my head gasket. Only changed it when i got the car four years ago this sound familiar?? Thought it would last bit longer even if it was an aftermarket??
