Supercharger Belt Timing & rebuild.

Recommended Posts

Hi there, i was wondering if anyone can help me with the procedure and of any diagrams available on how to do the timing on the G60 supercharger.

I am currently doing a head gasket change on my corrado and the supercharger has been in my garage for a while but i recently noticed the belt has come off the cogs. I will be rebuilding the Supercharger as well so if anyone has the part numbers for the bearings, oil seals & apex seals and where i can purchase these from at a resonable price that would also be appreciated.

Hello,

Right, make sure that the two small cogged pulleys have the small cut-outs pointing straight up to midday.

If the gears are out of sync the charger's shafts will bind and turn with difficulty.

Best bet is eBay for the parts or somewere like Bartek,BBM,Orz motorsport etc.

Get the latest version(12mm wide) of the small cogged belt from G-werks and also ask if he (Darren) has a kit he could sell you, very helpfull person who knows G-laders well.
